Technology

I can't believe what we can do these days. I say we, but I really mean them. At work, I fumble around access to try to create a new report out of our nut database. Yesterday I was asked to get a report that would show how many loads a day are leaving our facility. I wasn't successful at that. However, I was able to get it by weeks. Even that was a little sketchy. What I did turn in really wasn't a completed project. I would have needed several more hours to turn in a really clean, and pretty, report. However, I knew they weren't looking for pretty, but instead just looking for the numbers.

Anyway, I finally figured out how to put a playlist on my site. My sister-in-laws site puts me to shame. She has so many pictures, slide show, playlist, and a different background. I will have to work on a personalized background next. I just think it is amazing that I finally got a playlist together and it is actually working on my page. :-)

I finally cut out the pattern for my next window. It is a bit scary to me. There are 134 pieces to it. A lot of them are small and I wonder how I am first going to cut them, then how in the world am I going to wrap them in foil and make sure they get into place correctly. Oh well. I will never know until I try. I should be excited by this challenge, but am actually very intimidated. Hopefully I will be able to finish the project within the next month. I will then be very proud of myself.

Last weekend I finished with all my home improvement projects that I had planned. So this week I have been walking around my house and falling in love with it. I keep thinking about why in the world I want to sell it. I finally got it pretty and now I want out. I just have to remember my end goal is to get a home with a garage.
